The Music Psychology Committee of Chinese Psychological Society (MPCCPS) invites the submission of abstracts for our 2020 symposium, which will be held in May 29 - 31, 2020 at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.
MPCCPS is a non-profit organization for Chinese researchers interested in music psychology. It is aimed to facilitate interdisciplinary communication and cooperation among researchers of music psychology; to advance the application of music in educational and clinical domains; and to promote the public understanding of knowledge on music, brain and health.
The 2020 symposium will focus on the theme of “Theory and Practice of Music in Education and Rehabilitation”, while other topics in music psychology are welcome as well. Experts from China and other countries will be invited to share the latest research findings, and explore the mechanisms underlying the musical effect on education and rehabilitation. Oral and poster reports will be presented during the symposium. The official language in the symposium will be Chinese and English.
Please submit your abstract (300-500 words) to the official e-mail (music_psychology@163.com) before May 1, 2020. Acceptance email of oral presentation or poster presentation will be sent before May 10, 2020.
The abstract should be written in English or Chinese (doc/pdf files) and submitted via e-mail (music_psychology@163.com).
Please submit a 300-500 word abstract. It should be divided into the following five sections: Background, Aims, Method, Results, and Conclusions. Please write every author’s name, affiliation and the e-mail address of the corresponding author (click “read more” below to see Abstract Template).
