  • Partial wave analysis of J/ψ → γ(ηπ + π - )

    • 摘要:

      A partial wave analysis of BES J/ψ→γ(ηπ + π - ) data has been performed in the mass region 1.1 to 2.0 GeV. A peak is observed due to η(1440) in the ηπ + π - invariant mass distribution; J P = 0 - is preferred over 1 + . Its mass is M = 1385 ± 7 MeV and it decays into both ησ and a 0 (980)π, with BR[a 0 (980)π, a 0 →ηπ/ησ] = 0.70 ± 0.12(stat) ± 0.20(syst). Destructive interference between the two decay modes is observed. In addition, in the higher ηπ + π - mass region, there is a definite 2 -+ signal, with M = 1840±15 MeV and Γ= 170 ± 40 MeV and an additional 0 -+ signal at 1760 ± 35 MeV. We also find a possible contribution from a 1 ++ signal decaying dominantly through a 0 (980)π; its mass and width are fitted to be M = 1505 ± 20 MeV and Γ = 130 -20+50 MeV. © 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.   • Structure analysis of the fj\(1710\) in the radiative decay J/Ψ→γK + K

    • 摘要:

      The data on J/Ψ→γK + K from the BES experiment at the Beijing electron-positron collider have been analyzed. We find two resonances in the 1.7 GeV region which were identified as f J (1710): a scalar with mass 1781°8 +10−31 (MeV) and width 85°24 +22−19 (MeV), and a tensor with mass 1696°5 +9−34 (MeV) and width 103°18 +30−11 (MeV). The resulting branching ratios B(J/Ψ→γf J )B( f J →K + K ) are ( 0.8°0.1 +0.3−0.1 )10 −4 for J = 0 and ( 2.5°0.4 +0.9−0.4 )10 −4 for J = 2, respectively. © 1996 The American Physical Society.

  • Direct measurement of the Ds branching fraction to φπ

    • 摘要:

      The Beijing Spectrometer (BES) Collaboration has observed exclusive pair production of Ds mesons at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPC) at a center-of-mass energy of 4.03 GeV. The Ds mesons are detected in the φπ+, K̄ *0K+, and K̄ 0K+ decay modes; two fully reconstructed events yield the value (3.9-1.9-1.1+5.1+1.8)% for the Ds branching fraction to φπ. This is the first direct, model-independent measurement of this quantity. © 1995 The American Physical Society.

  • Experimental study of j/Ϋ radiative decay to π 0 π 0

    • 摘要:

      The decay J/Ϋ⤍γπ 0 π 0 is studied with 7.0×10 6 J/Ϋ events collected in the neutral trigger mode by the Beijing Spectrometer at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider. Evidence for the existence of f J \(1710\) and ξ\(2230\) in this channel is presented, and the corresponding masses as well as the product branching ratios are obtained. An interpretation of the ξ\(2230\) as a glueball is favored. © 1998 The American Physical Society.

  • A search for neutrinoless double β decay of 48 Ca

    • 摘要:

      A search for the neutrinoless double β decay of 48 Ca is carried out in a coal mine near Beijing. Large scintillation crystals of natural CaF 2 were used as both detector and β source. Results obtained after a total of 7588.5 h of data taking give 9.5×10 21 yr (76% confidence level) as the lower limit of the half-life of neutrinoless double β decay of 48 Ca. © 1991.

  • Partial wave analysis of J/ψ → γ(K(±)K(s) 0 π±)

    • 摘要:

      BES data on J/ψ → γ(K(±)K(S) 0 π±) are presented. There is a strong peak due to η(1440)/ι, which is fitted with a Breit-Wigner amplitude with s-dependent widths for decays to K*K, κK, ηππ and ρρ; κ refers to the Kπ S-wave. At a KKπ mass of ~ 2040 MeV, there is a second peak with width ~ 400 MeV; J(P) = 0 - is preferred over 1 + and 2 - respectively by 5.2 and 6.8 standard deviations. It is a possible candidate for a 0 - ssg hybrid partner of π(1800). (C) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.

  • Partial wave analysis of J/ψ → γ(π + π - π + π - ) 1

    • 摘要:

      BES data on J/ψ→ γ(π + π - π + π - ) have been analyzed into partial waves. We fit with resonances having J(PC) = 2 ++ at 1275 MeV, 0 ++ at 1500 MeV, 2 ++ at 1565 MeV, 0 ++ at 1740 MeV, 2 ++ at 1940 MeV and 0 ++ at 2104 MeV, plus a broad 0 - component. The 0 ++ resonances decay dominantly to σσ, while 2 ++ resonances in the high mass region decay mainly to f 2 (1270)σ and σσ; 2 ++ resonances from the low mass region decay dominantly to ρρ.   • Partial wave analysis of j/ψ → γ(k + k - π + π - ) 1

    • 摘要:

      BES data on J/ψ→ γ(K + K - π + π - ) are presented. The K*K°contribution peaks strongly near threshold. It is fitted with a broad 0 -+ resonance with mass M = 1800 ± 100 MeV, width Γ = 500 ± 200 MeV. A broad 2 ++ resonance peaking at 2020 MeV is also required with width ≃500 MeV. There is further evidence for a 2 -+ component peaking at 2.55 GeV. The non-K*K* contribution is close to phase space; it peaks at 2.6 GeV and is very different from K*K*. • First evidence of λλ̄ in χ cJ decays

    • 摘要:

      The first observation of X cJ (J=0,1,2) decays to ΛL̄ is reported using ψ(2S) data collected with the Beijing Spectrometer detector at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider. The branching ratios are determined to be β(χ c0 →ΛΛ̄) = (4.7 -+1.21.3 ±1.0)×10 -4 , β(χ cl →ΛΛ̄) = (2.6 -+0.91.0 ±0.6)×10 -4 and β(χ c2 →ΛΛ̄) = (3.3 -+1.31.5 ±0.7)×10 -4 . The results are compared with model predictions.
