Single frequency operation of diode-pumped intracavity frequency doubled Nd:YAG laser with tilted KTP crystal: Theoretical study

• 摘要：

  Combining a Brewster-plate and a birefringent crystal is one of the best methods to realize single-frequency coherent green light. Based on such an idea, a new method to optimize the output efficiency was presented, which is to tilt slightly the nonlinear crystal. The relationship between the tilting orientation angle β, its corresponding tilting angle α and crystal length d, and the influence upon the output were also analyzed.
