CALL FOR APPLICATIONS：EMERGING PSYCHOLOGISTS’ PROGRAMME  ICP2020

The 32nd International Congress of Psychology (ICP) will take place in Prague, the Czech Republic, from the 19th to the 24th of July, 2020. The congress offers a unique opportunity to meet psychologists from all over the world and to learn from colleagues with different expertise and experience. It is an exceptional possibility to network, to establish or to develop collaboration across countries and fields. Prague, a wonderful city in the heart of Europe, a cultural center and an architectural gem, is the best place to hold such an inspiring event.

The future of every branch of science lies in the next generation of scholars. Psychology needs both the accumulation and transmission of knowledge. It also needs a periodical rethinking of established theories and new perspectives on research. It should actively involve the new generation of psychologists.

That is why the Emerging Psychologists’ Programme (EPP) as a special event will be offered to young scholars in psychology on the occasion of the ICP Congress. The goals of the EPP include encouraging psychologists who are at the beginning of their careers, expanding their knowledge, boosting their enthusiasm and networking skills. Since the main theme of the 32nd International Congress of Psychology is openness, the EPP will stress diversity and inclusion.
