International Society for Digital Earth Statement on Peace

The current situation in Ukraine is alarming. War is no solution to any problem in Ukraine or any other countries in the world. Digital Earth is envisaged as a common platform to support national and international cooperation for global sustainable development, and a newly-developing point of economic growth and social well-being. The mission of the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) is to benefit society by promoting the development and realization of Digital Earth. The International Society for Digital Earth encourages a strong collaboration among countries to achieve such vision. Wars are the opposite to international cooperation. We don’t want to see anymore loss of people's life, properties, buildings, and the damages of natural landscape, natural and cultural heritages caused by the wars.
