关于昆明医学院物理治疗本科专业通过世界物理治疗师联盟最低教育标准认证的通知

　　从2005年建立专业开始，昆明医学院就将成立与国际接轨的康复治疗专业为目标，经过多年不懈的努力，昆明医学院物理治疗专业于2011年4月正式向世界物理治疗师联盟(WCPT)提出认证申请，期间经过审核大量的文字材料和WCPT专家小组为期3天的实地考察，终于在2011年9月1日收到正式通知，成为国内第一个达到此认证的院校。

　　Re: Report from the WCPT on the on-site evaluation of the Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy Programme

　　The WCPT congratulates you on the establishment of an entry level programme in physical therapy at the Kunming Medical University and on your willingness to present your programme for evaluation at an international level.

　　The WCPT is pleased to be able to present you with the Final Report on evaluation of the Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy Programme, undertaken by Professor Joan McMeeken and Dr Margot Skinner, members of the WCPT’s panel of education experts, in April 2011.

　　The programme was evaluated against the elements contained in WCPT’s position statement Guidelines for physical therapist professional entry-level education. These international guidelines represent general expectations about standards for the award of qualifications at an entry level and articulate attributes and capabilities that those possessing such qualifications should be able to demonstrate.

　　The WCPT is pleased to confirm the commendations, affirmations and recommendations contained in the report prepared by the panelists and to acknowledge that the graduates from the Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy Programme articulate the attributes and capabilities that an entry level physical therapist should be able to demonstrate.

　　The WCPT recognises that physical therapist education programmes are dynamic and undergoing a process of continual improvement and development. Thus the WCPT endorses the recommendation that the Kunming Medical University prepares an initial report on progress in response to the recommendations within six months of receiving this signed evaluation report, with a further follow-up at one year. The panelists will then undertake an evaluation of the written documentation presented and provide a further evaluation in regard to the elements identified in the primary evaluation.

　　We trust that the content of this report will be valuable in affirming the place of physical therapy in your University and in contributing to the work being undertaken to formally establish the physical therapy profession as an autonomous health profession in China.

　　世界物理治疗师联盟非常荣幸的向您提供昆明医学院物理治疗本科专业的评估最终报告，由世界物理治疗师联盟专家小组成员Joan McMeeken教授和Margot Skinner博士完成，始于2011年4月开始。

　　昆明医学院的课程是根据世界物理治疗师联盟发布的文件《准入级物理治疗师教育指南》中的各项标准进行评估的。该国际教育指南代表着对准入级物理治疗师的基本要求和标准，并明确规定了准入级物理治疗师应具备的特性和能力。

　　世界物理治疗师联盟承认物理治疗教育课程是动态并持续发展变化的，在此要求昆明医学院在对专家组的报告中提出的意见，做出整改进程的报告，分别于收到此信的六个月和一年之后提交世界物理治疗师联盟。专家小组会根据最初报告中发现的问题，根据这两份书面报告再进行评估。
