The mutations that occur with digital and mobile technology affect the educational and cultural ecosystem. This requires a different look at the book, the reading, the literature and the reader, and for that, it is crucial to have as basis the interdisciplinarity and the transdiciplinarity
between areas that permeate the context. Thus, the research of this postdoctoral internship in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms, at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, is based on the post-custodial paradigm of Information Science and in the principles of User Experience Design, applying them in the debate about the behavior and experience of the Alpha Generation in
the process of reading and writing online. A piece of the theoretical framework that supports the research is presented, with approach to the terms adopted to define children's literature on the web. Due to the lack of a terminological unity, the term literature-service, coined in 2018 by the researcher, evidenced with the challenge of stimulating the debate about its relevance and acceptability.
