《Toxicology　Research》2014年度新的影响因子为3.98

　　2015年6月19日汤森路透JCR (JournalCitationReports) 公布了2014年度SCI期刊的影响因子，由中国毒理学会与英国毒理学会合办、英国皇家化学会（RSC）出版社出版发行的《ToxicologyResearch》首度影响因子（IF）为3.27，今年的影响因子上升至3.98，目前在国际毒理学领域杂志排名第6，这是非常值得庆贺的喜事，因为中国学者在该杂志发表的论文占全有论文的1/4左右，这是中国毒理学领域的研究成果得到世界认可的最好佐证。《ToxicologyResearch》创办之时定位国际毒理学领域的顶尖学术刊物，首刊在2012年7月份发行，目前杂志已经刊出20期，共发表了237篇文章。《ToxicologyResearch》的杂志主编是来自英国帝国理工大学的Nigel J Gooderham教授，副主编2位，编委6位学会理事长、军事医学科学院周平坤教授任副主编，学会副秘书长中山大学陈雯教授任编委。主编Gooderham教授前天特地向中国毒理学会和英国毒理学会发来祝贺和致谢信，感谢中英两学会的共同合作，以及编委会、编辑部全体团队对该杂志的支持和辛勤付出，并鼓励同道继续支持和踊跃投稿。

Dear members of the British Toxicology Society (BTS) and the Chinese Society ofToxicology (CST),
Thank you for your continued support of your journal Toxicology Research. As youwill recall, last year Toxicology Research obtained its first ever Impact factor(2013 partial IF, 3.27), which was not only a great start to the journal’smetrics but also put us in the top quartile of all toxicology journals. I am nowpleased to confirm that the Thompson ISI Journal Citation metrics for 2014 showsToxicology Research has an Impact factor of 3.983. This is a truly stunningperformance as it elevates us into the top ten toxicology journals. Indeed,putting aside the toxicology review journals, Toxicology Research is now ranked6th of the journals publishing original research; ahead of us are EnvironmentalHealth Perspectives, Particle and Fibre Toxicology, Nanotoxicology, Archives ofToxicology and Drugs. To put this in context, this puts us ahead of the majorwell-established US and European toxicology journals; a massive coup. Thisextraordinary success after such a short publishing history is of course builtupon the strong publishing tradition established at the Royal Society ofChemistry and our talented and dedicated editorial team. However, withoutresearch contributions from the toxicology community, the journal would not bewhere it is so I would like to record my particular thanks to the members of theBTS/CST for their contributions. As I stated last year, Toxicology Research isyour journal and I encourage you to continue to submit your research forpublication to our growing and developing global brand.
